Master Ed Rose has been training in martial arts for over 20 years and has been an instructor for 19 of those. Master Rose is a 6th Degree Black Belt Certified Instructor and has trained under Grandmaster Rick Hall in Hixson, who for over 30 years has been serving the Chattanooga area with the finest in martial arts training. Master Rose took over the Fort Oglethorpe Academy in 2010 and is celebrating his 10th anniversary at the academy this year!

 

 

 

 

 


 

Master Rose is a business partner with several elementary schools in the Catoosa County area, and in 2017 was presented with the prestigious Robert Hitchcox Champion Award for being a Champion for Children in Catoosa County by Superintendent Mrs. Denia Reese.

Master Rose has also trained under GrandMaster He-Young Kimm for many years. Dr. Kimm is a 10th Degree Black Belt and the founder of the art of Han Mu Do. Dr. Kimm is internationally recognized as one of the pioneers who brought taekwondo to the United States in the 1960’s, and is the world’s foremost Korean martial arts historian. Master Rose is honored to have trained under such historic martial artists, and assisted Dr. Kimm with many of his seminars as an instructor.
